We seek a highly self-motivated team player and experienced professional to join our startup as the Head of Marketing and Product for our automotive thermal management solution. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, brand awareness, developing and managing product marketing initiatives, engaging with customers and partners, and driving the growth of our innovative thermal management solutions for electric vehicles. The ideal candidate should have a strong marketing, product marketing, and business development background, focusing on automotive technology and a passion for sustainability. This role requires cooperation with Carrar’s management team to lead strategy, plans, and day-to-day execution to lead the company to success.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies: Design and execute marketing plans aligning with Carrar’s business goals, target market, and competitive landscape. Drive customer and partner acquisition, brand positioning, and market penetration through various marketing channels.
- Lead product marketing: Responsible for Carrar’s product strategy to create marketing material. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, conduct market research and competitive analysis, gather customer insights, and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Manage marketing communication: Develop and execute effective marketing communications across multiple channels, such as social media, content marketing, digital advertising, events, and partnerships.
- Support the company business development: Participate in the business development efforts of Carrar’s management team with automotive OEMs, help win our TMS solution with key OEMs, and manage relationships up to SOP (Start of Production). Help sign up strategic partnerships with lead integrators and suppliers.
- Build and manage a high-performance team: We plan to build a solid and effective marketing and product team in the future. Mentor, recruit, and manage a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and ensure the team has the resources to achieve objectives.
- Provide thought leadership, industry knowledge, and relationships with automotive OEMs, integrators, and suppliers.
- Proven experience in marketing and product marketing roles in the automotive industry or related areas.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with a track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- A good team player, to partner in a management team that leads Carrar forward.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Experienced in product marketing, product development, and innovation, focusing on understanding automotive OEM requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
- Working experience in a deep technology startup environment is an advantage.
- Previous experience with Customers at different position levels, from engineers to C-level Interface in the automotive sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives, including strong presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Additional degrees in engineering or product management are a plus. An engineering degree is an advantage.
- Travel requirement: This is a hybrid position. Carrar’s Office is in Sderot. You will need to travel overseas and long working hours.
